OUR MISSION
Providing educational films and documentaries, as well as humanitarian services to children, youth, seniors, low-income and disadvantaged families, immigrants, and retirees living in Greenville County and the state of South Carolina.
PROJECT INFORMATION
I Am Changed’s Bright Minds Animation program is designed to create change in the lives of young people through focus groups that address challenges that youth in our community face. The program helps youth process real issues creatively. Each participant is part of a team that creates animations, music, and cartoons while learning production skills that will be useful for a lifetime. These projects share positive, moral messages with other youth and will be distributed to local youth organizations. The program is currently in Phase One, with great results.

I AM CHANGED is excited to announce its newest Partner in Purpose for the Bright Minds Animation Program.
“Raising awareness is so important—people need to be aware of what’s going on.”
These are the words spoken by South Carolina State Senator Karl B. Allen while filming the Homeless in the South documentary.
Project Homeless Outpost (P.H.O.) founder and filmmaker Jeff Akers is telling the story through the camera lens so viewers can truly understand the daily struggles of homeless citizens in Greenville, SC. The ultimate goal of Project Homeless Outpost is to raise awareness about homelessness in the South, recruit volunteers, raise adequate funding, and educate the homeless about available resources. Providing basic food packages and hygiene kits is also part of the mission, in addition to creating outpost distribution locations where homeless citizens can receive full meals. Homeless in the South will provide a candid point of view and also guide us through a day in the life of the homeless in Greenville County and our state. Funding for this project is based upon donations, and we need your support.
